AFPD is a program administrator for dentists’ and lawyers’ professional liability. Professional Liability provides protection for professionals exposed to claims for actual or alleged negligent acts, misstatements, misleading statements, and errors or omissions in the rendering, or failure to render, professional services.

AFPD, a division of NSM Insurance Group, was established in 1986 to address a need for professional liability (malpractice insurance) for dentists on a national basis. Due to its rapid success with this medical class, AFPD expanded its expertise to include lawyers’ professional liability.
