Administrators for the Professions of Delaware, Inc. ("AFPD") was formed in 1986 to act as a manager to insurance companies for professional liability insurance programs.  AFPD, as program manager, provides marketing, underwriting, billing, collections, and data processing services to two insurance companies.  AFPD administers a nationally recognized property & casualty carrier's admitted dentists' professional liability program on a nationwide basis.  In 1998, AFPD decided to expand its market by providing services to carriers desiring to issue non-medical related risks.

In late 1998, AFPD created an admitted lawyers professional liability program that targets firms having one to five attorneys at inception.  In 2009, AFPD decided to expand its geographic and size of firm target market and became the exclusive, nationwide, program manager for a nationally recognized property & casualty carrier to expand its target market to 1-100 attorneys at higher available limits in all states except California and New Jersey.  In addition to handling all marketing, underwriting, billing, collections and data processing services for this carrier, we also handle all claims.  The Claims Manager is an attorney and all claims examiners for this program are attorneys.
